Terms of Service

• Provider: SYNECT LIMITED (CRO 814346; VAT No. IE 4734166RH), The Tara Building, 11-15 Tara Street, Dublin 2, D02 RY83, Ireland.
• User: the individual or business accessing synectgeo.io.
• Eligibility: the service is intended for business use and you must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

SynectGEO is an AI visibility tracking and GEO/AEO analytics platform. It queries third-party AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity) on behalf of users and returns scored visibility reports.

Paid plans are billed in credits. One credit buys one prompt asked of one AI engine. A prompt run across four engines therefore costs four credits and the same prompt run across two costs two, so switching an engine off in your workspace settings reduces what you pay. The other reports draw on the same wallet and are priced per report rather than per engine, because each is written once whatever answered: the Content report costs 12 credits, the Off-page report 8, and competitor-gap recommendations 4.

Before 5 September 2026 a credit bought one prompt across every enabled engine. Plan allowances and top-up packs were multiplied by four at the same time as this change, so the number of reports a given plan buys is unchanged for a workspace using all four engines, and lower engine counts now cost less than they did.

If you switch on automatic tracking for a project, we re-run that project at the cadence you choose, together with any of those reports you select, and each of those runs draws credits from your wallet without further action by you. The project page shows the estimated monthly credit cost of your selection before you save it. You can change the cadence, change which reports run, or turn automatic tracking off at any time, and no further credits are drawn from that point. We never draw credits you do not have: if the balance runs out, scheduled runs stop and we email you.

Each plan includes a monthly or annual credit allowance, published on our pricing page. Credits do not expire while a subscription is active. Additional credits may be purchased as top-ups by subscribers. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout where applicable.

Reports may optionally be grouped into brand projects: named folders that hold up to ten reports each. Grouping is free on every plan, costs no credits, and does not limit how many reports you may run.

We may change plan prices or included allowances. Where a change affects an active subscription to your disadvantage we will give at least 30 days’ notice to your account email before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then. Changes never apply retroactively to credits already granted.

You must not:

• Submit brands, URLs, or prompts that infringe third-party intellectual property.
• Use the service to generate reports on individuals (natural persons) for profiling purposes.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data in bulk from the platform.
• Use the platform for any purpose prohibited by applicable law.

SynectGEO is intended for measuring the AI visibility of businesses, brands, and organisations. You must not use it to profile, monitor, or generate sentiment or other assessments about an identifiable natural person. Where a brand name also identifies an individual (for example, a sole trader), you confirm that you are analysing the business or brand, that you are entitled to do so, and that any output concerning competitor brands reflects third-party AI systems’ statements rather than an assessment of a person by SYNECT LIMITED.

This disclosure is provided in compliance with EU AI Act Article 50 (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). SynectGEO is a Limited-Risk AI system: it is an analytics/reporting tool, it does not make automated decisions affecting individuals’ rights, and it does not process biometric, health, or employment data.

AI assistants may return inaccurate content about brands, and web-grounded modes (e.g. Perplexity) return third-party URLs as citations. Such citations are returned by the third-party AI and are not endorsed by SYNECT LIMITED; competitive analysis is provided for informational purposes only and is not a statement of fact by SYNECT LIMITED.

Reports are confidential to your account by default. You may use them internally and in your own confidential materials. You may not publish or republish report excerpts concerning competitors (including AI-generated statements about competitor brands or their products) in advertising, marketing, or other public communications. AI outputs are unverified point-in-time samples, not statements of fact by SYNECT LIMITED, and republishing them is at your own risk and may expose you to liability.

Cancel contract here opens our online cancellation form: give your name and the email address you bought with, then press Confirm cancellation. You don’t need to give a reason. We email you a confirmation showing what you sent and the date and time we received it. The same link is in the footer of this website and, when you’re signed in, under Settings → Billing & usage.

SynectGEO is supplied immediately so you can use it straight away. Because of that, if you are a consumer and withdraw within the 14-day period, we refund the value of any credits you have not yet used. Credits you have already used may not be refundable, as the corresponding reports were generated and delivered to you. We make eligible refunds to your original payment method without undue delay.

Business customers (purchasing for purposes related to their trade, business, or profession) are not consumers, and the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to them.

To cancel, use the online cancellation form or email hello@synectgroup.com. Any clear statement of your decision is enough: you may, but do not have to, use the model form below. We refund any amount due without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your notice.
